Popularly known for her breakout role as Alex Munday in Charlie’s Angels, Lucy Liu is the daughter of Chinese immigrants from Shanghai and Beijing.

Lucy's acting career started when she was discovered at the age of 21 on the subway, which would then lead to small roles in films and TV. Beginning with her debut on the the X-Files, to a temporary turned permanent role as Ling Woo on the hit TV-series Ally McBeal, Lucy’s 20+ year acting career afforded her an invite to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
