To be featured:
We would like to feature you, if you identify as a first-generation American, an immigrant in America and/or identify with at least two cultures. Please complete and submit your bio HERE.
To write a guest post for our blog:
We are looking for creative or personal pieces (500-700 words) centered on cultural identity and life from the eyes of people who identify as being first-generation, an immigrant and/or a mix of at least two cultures.
Feel free to link back to relevant posts on Defining Cultures. You may also add one or two external links as long as they substantiate your writing or provide additional value to the reader. Affiliate links are never ok and will be removed.
Can I repost my submission on my blog?
We only accept exclusive content. Therefore, you may not republish the post on your blog or any other website because it can hurt SEO traffic results for everyone involved.
Before you submit, please run through this checklist. Have you included your author bio (up to 100 words), to include your:
- Name, heritage and profession in the U.S.;
- 1 high resolution headshot; and
- Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram handles?
