As licensed physician, Dr. Ken Jeong is also a well-known actor and comedian. he was born in Detroit, Michigan to parents who emigrated to the U.S. from South Korea. Dr. Ken earned his bachelor’s degree from Duke University (1990), and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (1995).
While completing his residency in New Orleans, Dr. Ken was also developing his stand-up comedy routine. He's best known for his role as Ben Chang on the NBC hit show, Community (2009-2015) and guest appearances in The Hangover Trilogy, as Leslie Chow.
As of October 2015, he stars in the show he created and co-produces, rightly named, Dr. Ken.
