2015’s Model of the Year, Gigi Hadid, was born in Los Angeles, CA to a Dutch mother and Palestinian father.
After high school, Gigi moved to New York to pursue her modeling career full-time, but her career started long before that. When Gigi was only 2 years old, she modeled for Baby Guess after being discovered by its Co-founder. She was later named the “Face of Guess” after returning to modeling during adulthood.
In 2013, Gigi signed to IMG Models and has since walked in several high-end designer fashion shows. She has also appeared on a number of high fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and Elle.
