Hailing from Sacramento, California, Brian is the oldest of 3 kids, born to parents who emigrated to the U.S. from Hong Kong.
He was a nursing major in college, but eventually made the bold decision to pursue a non-traditional career – becoming a licensed barber in 2010, and recently opening his own barbershop called Passion Hair.
Brian credits his profession for helping him deal with depression; the opportunity to divulge his first-generation struggles with people from different cultures has been a blessing for him. In turn, he gives back by donating his time and hair-cutting services to a local homeless shelter.
His goals include: growing his business, inspiring people to become barbers, and spreading God’s love to others.
