In 2016, Sinakhone Keodara founded Asian Entertainment Television (AET) to shift the perception of Asians in America.

After studying Film Production at Santa Monica College from 2011 to 2013, Sinakhone got his start in the entertainment industry as an Office Production Assistant (PA) at Pilgrim Studios, then transitioned to a Post PA role from late 2013 to April 2014. He briefly worked for World of Wonder Productions as a night Assistant Editor on RuPaul's Drag Race (Season 6) before being laid off when the show won TCA's Choice Award and became Union.

By 2013, Sinakhone screened a work-in-progress cut of his documentary "Roses & Red Ants" at the 4th International Lao Studies Conference sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Center for Lao Studies, where he helped organize the world's first-ever Lao Filmmakers' Panel.

Two years later, as a Screenwriter, Director and Producer, Sinakhone's screenplay "Where Our Worlds Meet" was a finalist in the Austin Film Festival's 2015 Teleplay and Screenplay competition in the short category, which received nearly 9,000 submissions.

In 2016, as an Associate Producer, he helped raise over $77k on an Indiegogo campaign for the award-winning feature film "I Love You Both."

For over 11 years, Sinakhone has proved his love and support for his roots as well as entertainment. As he works to fulfill his goal of launching Asian Entertainment Studios – a TV production company and film studio – he continues to merge his two passions on a daily basis.
