Niki Nakayama, a chef who specializes in creating kaiseki, was born in LA and raised by Japanese parents who worked as fish distributors. To perfect her craft, Niki toured Japan for several years and soaked up all there is to know about Japanese cuisine. And when she returned to California, she opened Azami Sushi Café and the famous n/naka restaurant. Niki has also appeared on Chef Table on Netflix.
