Known to many as the “clean queen”, Candice Kumai is a trained chef, 5x best-selling author, and journalist. Born in California to a Japanese mother and Polish-American father, Candice now teaches the world how to eat clean through her books and contributions to publications like Elle, Shape, and The Wall Street Journal, as well as her appearances on Iron Chef America and Beat Bobby Flay.

Candice also dedicates much of her time to making a difference in the community through her involvement with her local church and national organizations like the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, Wellness in the Schools, and Health Corps.
