“Naija Born. DMV Raised. Ohio Made. Dallas Paid.”

As some may know, growing up in a Nigerian household is nothing but education, education, and more education! So to no surprise, Ayo’s parents cultivated the importance of education and to have an obsessive drive to go for anything you want in this world.

But instead of focusing on exactly what Ayo wanted to do in life professionally, his passion reassured them that no matter what he decided to do, everything would be A-ok.

While attending Ohio University, Ayo interned at BET Networks, worked on NIKE’s Equality campaign, became a member of one of the most prestigious Black Greek Letter Organizations, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., and found love for the advertising industry.

He wrapped up his studies a few months ago – graduating with a B.A. in Economics, and a double minor in Marketing and Journalism.

Currently, Ayo is working with a group of creatives and strategists for an ad agency, The Kinxion, under the Marcus Graham Project  – a non-profit organization and national network of diverse professionals within the advertising, media, and marketing industry. Ayo's work primarily centers on social media and strategy, where he has helped to deliver exceptional projects for clients such as Apple, Fossil, and Hill Harper.

“I believe I’m here to crack the pavement and make new grounds in the advertising/marketing world.” If he sees something, best believe he's going for it.
